Following in the footsteps of Georgia O’Keeffe and Araki, today, the photographer observes flowers in full bloom, evoking unsettling forms which at times resemble female or male anatomies.
This force of life and desire is found in the moving bodies of the women she photographs. Combining strength and fragility, the blossoming of flowers echoes the fleeting play of drapery which frequently gives shape to ephemeral sculptures.
